Possibility of tranny going bad?

I realized the other day that my Tranny Cooler was leaking. One of the band clamps wasn't tight and the fluid was leaking out. I don't know how lon that was going on, I think it was just for the little bit of the day. I noticed a huge puddle at my P's house and then tightened the clamp. I know I lost fluid, I'm just not sure how much. My question is this: By losing the fluid and waiting two days to fill it up, what are the possibilities of me frying my tranny or the synchros?

Scenario and mods:

The car is a 1997 Camaro, A4, 2800 stall, FLP longtubes, P&P stock heads, LT4 HC and springs, etc... Tranny cooler, PCM For Less, K&N CAI, no gears or any tranny shift kits.

Before I had firm shifts, nothing that would make your head snap but your head would def. move when it hit good. Now it seems that it will hit semi-good and on others it seems as though the gears just kinda slide into each other. Before when I was low on fluid if I would get on it it would almost seem like the gears were gonna slip out on me when it was trying to change from 1-2 or 2-3. Now it doesn't do that it just takes a little extra time to get into gear. 1-2 seems to be the one that gives me the most "trouble."

I plan on putting more fluid in, I already put in 1 quart of B&M Trickshift, which is what I put into it before. I'm gonna get another quart and see if that does anything.

Any thoughts?
