POSI Question

Have a '95 Z28 with POSI and 3.23 gears. The axel housing is broken but all the gears and POSI inside are good. I went to the junkyard and picked up a new rearend, non POSI. Would it be a lot of work to add the POSI to the new rearend. THe new rear has the same gears, from a '00 Firebird. If I"m not switching gears, would I still need to worry about backlash and everything to add the POSI, or is this easy to add? I don't know too much about this, so was hoping someone can tell me what's all involved, or if it would be more trouble than it's worth. Thanks,

Dion
