I use redline. I know many racers use it, and thats good enough for me

 

Wow ... and to think that I'm still running the same tranny fluid that came in the car 65K miles ago.

 

Mobil 1 ATF, used for the last 20k miles, 60k miles on car. 355rwhp, I've had no problems running it at all, shifts smooth.

 

Anyone else?

 

I heard a bunch of positive things about Royal Purple....put it in mine ~5k ago, no problems, seems like less tranny gear noise than before, but subtle if noticeable at all....it's $5+/QT tho

 

I use honda ATF fluid.

 

Guess im the black sheep....running castrol Dexron III ATF :P. Never had a problem with my t-5 for 102k miles and I see no reason why my t-56 can't use it.

 

Back when I had the T56 and "just" 700rwhp I ran whatever we had around, basic generic ATF. Changed it just once. Sold the tranny and it's still running/shifting fine. This is something I wouldn't waste time or money on.

The Honda ATF works great.

 

I use Valvoline ATF for high mileage tranny's. HP in sig.

 

What about Royal Purple?

 

Using amsoil, ls1, probly just over 300 rwhp
