please help me with this converter question i appreciate it

i seen one on tci's site part number 242932 ssf3500 for over 700.00 and i seen one on texas speeds site that says ssf3500 for like 479.99, are these the exact same converter? if they are why is it WAY more at tci? is this a good converter for my 00 trans am with longtubes, 3.73 gmmg, lid ssra nittos? i will get suspension mods also. will this tc reduce my et atleast .5? will it hurt my mphfor drag racing? about how many mph will it add if it doesnt hurt? thanks guys
