Please help guys, I have a 94 z with a bad problem. At 5 grand full throttle in any gear you have to let off to about 75 % maybe a little lower to get it to shift into any of the gears at WOT. Driving normal it is fine. I have a shift kit and a stall converter. Little extra's that I dont know if it matters are, headers, full borla, k/n, 373, hot cam kit, subframe connectors....nitros that i havent got to work yet. heads have been ported and polished. Got a 13.3 out of her and that was letting off and shifting at 5,000....Would really like to get the full range of the cam and power......ANY ANY ANY ANY help would be extremely appreciated. A low budget way would be the best considering I dont have enough money for a rebuild to spend on the car. the '94 had the 4l60e which the shifting is computer controlled. i bet you are running the stock program. you need to have a tune done for your set-up. it should help solve your shifting issues as well provided the tranny is in good shape.
