What kind of temp can the plastic slave cylinder on a 84 camaro take??
the header is going to come within a inch or so will it melt the cylinder?

 

how far from the head is it?the header is hotter at the head, but if its at least 3 inches or so from the head youd prob be alright.you could also build a simple heat shield if your worried about it.any pics?i might be able to help you on the heat shield if you want.
