Pinion seal...what size socket?

I wanna do the pinion seal, what size socket does it take? looks huge.

Any pointers on how to do this?

1.25 ,and you better have a good impact gun.

Agreed 1.25" & Impact and make sure to mark the nut alignment and yoke alignment. Measure the pinon from nut to end or count the threads on the pinon so you get the nut in the same position.

Be careful when you tighten it, over tightening it can ruin the crush sleve
