Pilot bearing install HELP!!!

How in the world do you install the pilot bearing? I did a search and tried the socket and mallet thing with no luck. Any body have any better ideas? I keeps marking the front up. I have went through a bushing and a bearing so far. Thanks to all who reply!!

Thanks
Shawn

You can try putting it in the freezer over night. It might shrink enough to fit in there and maybe try some greese on it.
