Good Place to Buy a Tranny Mount

Any suggestions on where to buy a tranny mount? I think mine's busted...makes that loud thumping noise, when I really get on it. Checked a couple of our supporting vendors and they don't seem to have it. Any major benefit of getting the 1LE tranny mount?

Get an energy suspension urethane(sp) mount. They're very solid but still absoub a decent amount of vibration. Most motorsport places as well as summit and jegs sell them. About $25.

My friend and I both installed poly mounts (mines a M6, his an A4). The vibration in the M6 is tolerable, the A4 make the whole console shake and we yanked his and installed a 1LE...vibration gone! Later I read a thread that the ES poly mount is actually designed to fit third Gens, not 4th Gens even though their packaging claims it fits both. It throws off the driveshaft angle. I replaced mine with a 1LE mount and like it better, less vibration.

I just bought an energy suspension mount today at autozone. it was $24.99. I hope OBE1 95Z28 is wrong about the vibration thing. We will see how it works out.

Hmmm...OBE1, can you a link to the thread about the ES mount is not designed for 4th gen? I've checked Jegs and such and it looks like it supposed to fit, but I don't want to mess up an drivetrain angles.

As for the 1LE mount, what's a good place to get one?

Anybody use the solid mounts (no rubbler or poly). Looks like that would be bad...you want something to take up the vibration, but I see that it's offered from all the sites that poly is offered.

I bought my ES poly mount from Autozone. Easy to replace, and no vibrations at all for the last 4 months...
