Performance T56 Rebuild?

Who has the best deal on a performance T56 rebuilt to handle about 500 hp. The best deal to me seems like a D&D Performance one for like 2 grand and sell mine while it stills works...what do they go for used (working)...7, 8 hundred?

You need yours for a core. What parts are you planning to upgrade?

To be honest with you I dont know, but I am just getting some prices in my head because I figured mine will go out sooner or later after installing a performance clutch and a heads and cam package.

The stock tranny is pretty damn strong. I didn't break mine with over 800rwhp.

Make sure who ever does it will warranty the rebuild completely...
D&D is great to deal with and has the best prices.

The stock T56 is really tough... in the upgraded versions i think they only get a steel 3-4 shift fork and a Viper input shaft. The input shaft is the expensive part
