Performance gain w/ light flywheel?

I am about to get a new clutch and was curious if it is worth buying a new lightweight flywheel. Are there any significant performance gains or etc. I was planning on just getting mine re-surfaced. Thanks!

I had a centerforce dual friction and stock flywheel as my first clutch and I can say if your going with a high performance clutch, i would definitly get a new flywheel. I doesn't HAVE to be billet alluminum, you can get a stocker, but dont resurface it, just asking for problems i think.
