Performabuilt Stage 2 Tranny Problem?

I own a 1996 Camaro Z-28 with the Lt-1 and 4L60E Auto transmission. The car had very high mileage, but the previous owners recently put a Performabuilt Stage 2 Tranny in there, and i recently replaced the torque converter with a 2000 stall, and im still getting a trouble code 1870. The tranny also got a flush when the TC was replaced, when shifting into O-Drive the car makes a thunk. Then when driving first gear shifts hard-very hard (depending on how far i have the pedal down), now i think this is normal, and the other shifts smoother and smoother as it approaches fourth gear. So i dont know why it is giving me this trouble code, but it is bothering me. in fourth gear im cruising at 65 at around 1800 rpms, so i dont think its overdrive problems. any insight what could be the problem?
Thanks

PO1870 is a code that can be set for several reasons ranging from converter lockup to other issues, I think I spoke with you on the phone, Did you clear the code and try what I suggested ?

Well drove it today for over 50 miles and the the SES did not come on, so im starting to think maybe the overdrive band is broken.. but im not terribly sure. reason for me to think this cause i had a similar problem not to long ago in my ranger, 5th gear wouldnt engage, but rode fine from first to fourth, and ended up being O-band broken.

Call me 570-578-5686 and I will help you fix it, And it will be much easier than you think, Bear in mind the OD band is also the second gear band so it is not likley the problem . I suspect and issue with the OD servo.
