Frank I have been trying to get a hold of you but to no avail Im coming
here to see if you will respond to me . I absolutely need to have my trans
shipped back to me no later than wednesday 8-26-09 . I am moving
to a different city 70 miles away and dont have access to a car trailer .

I would guess he no longer feels the love, heh. All the threats of lawsuit, etc. He seems like a good guy that just bit off more than he could chew.

problem is your in a line probably 50 tranmissions long...i think hes goana slowly finish the trans he has then stop doing them...unless he hires sombody else...i dont know...i want mine back i was trying to make pinks a few months ago but no luck...mines been there since january...

Really too bad - Frank was great to deal with back when I got my trans from him, and it was the best transmission I have ever driven and I drive a lot of fast cars.

Probably just what you said and hopefully get everybody off the backlog. I know people get mad and such, but I kinda feel for the guy. He obviously makes a good product, but didn't manage things too well and circumstances got the best of it.

 

I definitely feel for the guy too, but he shouldn't have kept taking in new work when he had a massive back log. When you get to a point where you're ignoring your customers, thats a huge problem. I have faith in his product just like daniel since we both know the guy is busting his ***, but it's got to look real shady from someone whos never done business with Frank before.

I hope he gets cought up and takes a long vacation from building transmissions on the side, these situations can't be good for his health.

 

I hate to see this. Frank was great to me when i had to deal with him. He builds a damn fine product too. I hate to see guys like Frank disappear. Looks like it's time for him to stop taking orders, finish up what's left in his shop, and take a step back to reevaluate what is happening. He needs a new approach to his side business and a new way of handling his schedules when it comes to completion dates and lead times.

I to have had a CPT Pro Race Trans. A real great product from a real great man. He knows what he is doing. Hell he invited me to his place to do a transmission swap, and broke my trans down right infront of me in 10 minutes to show me exactly what exploded. It sucks that it has to be this way, because the man IMO is stand up.

 

wish they went abck together in 10 minutes...what he needs to do if its going that good is stop the day job stock parts and get these things in and out...if hes really that busy...


and does anyone know if hes taking in new work?

 

I felt for Frank, gave him the benefit of the doubt and many encouraging words. There is no excuse for how he's treating us. I'm lucky to get an email every two months that says "I'll get it out sooner or later". I was stupid and paid in full up front, so I have no choice but to pursue this. He's had the damn thing A YEAR!!!
