Paddle Shifters with T-56?

How can one go about this. preferably no clutch pedal but will use if it overcomplicates things.

as far as i know, this is impossible. You can buy sequential transmissions that it would be possible with, but ive never seen one to replace the t56?

OHH, there is always a way...
And should i be forced to put a small midget under my seat and have the paddles send an electronic shock to his right or left hand when i want to shift, so be it

I dont see there being a way, especially without a clutch. You would need something like the new style 2 clutch transmissions in audis and such. where 1 clutch does the odd gears, and 1 does the even, so it can shift manually without a clutch.

If you dont mind me asking, why do you want this.....

i'm probably wandering into the deep-end when i ask this, but wouldn't eat be much easier to paddle shift an automatic transmission?

the main issue would be electronically blipping the throttle when you down shift. but that's more of a comfort thing.

Re: Paddle Shifters with T-56?

thats the answer that i figured but didn't know how complex it was. i do konw that ferrari initially had problems because of rough downshifts, they solved it the next year. i believe it was the stadale model that solved it. maybe lookinto that?

edit: i did a search and found this.

he says that his company is looking into a paddle shift for the c5. but i don't know his companys name or website. the thread is also a year old.

have you looked into this though?
