P1860 Code

I just found out the transmission that my cousin put in this car is from a 94 TA. I read on another thread that there is no TCC solenoid in that year 4L60. Is that right and if so, will it work ok and how can I get rid of that SES light and the P1860 Code? Can I wire a 10-15ohm resistor to the tan/blk wire. Is that the answer? The PCM is the original 96.
Help me... I'm tired of searching threads

94-02 4L60e all have the TCC solenoid. So long as it has the electrical connector it's all the same..right??? Dag I thought I was going to get out easy. Does anybody want to give me an idea of what I'm getting into. I am so close to getting this car ready for inspection. This is my last hurdle. I guess I'll test for 10- 15 ohms at the PCM and if it ain't there. Get a new Solenoid and Harness for about $50- 60. Is that right?
I think there should be a special forum for me called "DIY for Dummies"
I think The Moderators are tired of my lame questions. lol
Thanks for any help.

Ok, I dropped the transmission pan to see what exactly I have here. I was told that it ws a 94 but they weren't sure.

This is what I found. So now I'm back to trying to fool the PCM....right?
I can't wait for someone to jump in here and help me get this squared away. Looking forwards to hearing from anybody. Thanks

Ok the trans is a 94 your showing, You can use it however. You will need to swap the wiring harness from the 96 trans and the missing solenoid. It will act as a dummy for the PCM and all will work fine. There is no valve train in the 94 for the solenoid but all will fucntion fine as long as the pcm sees it .

I've been reading your advice to other people. That's why I pulled the pan to actually see what I have.
I don't have the old 96 trans so I guess I need to find a Harness & Solenoid to do that. I'm going seaching/reseaching for that now.
Thanks!

PS I have been told that I can reprogram the PCM so it doesn't look for the PWM. Will that work? Either way I'm stoked! Thanks again
