The pressure control solenoid is pretty easy to change. Once you get the transmission pan down, it's only 4 bolts to get to it. You'll have to remove your 2nd accumulator housing to get the solenoid out of the valvebody. It's only (3) 10MM bolts to get the 2nd accum. housing out of the way, and then the 8MM that holds the solenoid on the valvebody. There's nothing behind the solenoid that will come out with it, so there's no need to worry about anything there. Even the 2nd accum. housing is pretty straight forward.
Check your wires and connector while you're there.
Make sure you notice which way the bracket that holds the solenoid is oriented. It's possible to put it on backwards.
Be prepared for "sticker shock", if you try to get one from a dealer. I can supply you with one for much cheaper.
Just grab some fluid, a new pan gasket, and a filter, and make it part of a transmission "service".
If you decide to try this yourself, and you run into any problems, feel free to give me a call. I'm sure I can "talk you through it". 302-250-1202.
