options for a 2800-3000 stall?

besides the expensive vigilante unit, what others should i consider? ive heard good things about midwest convertors, but dont know too much about em (i.e. where to get one, how much, etc.) as well as TCI. however i dont want to spend an arm and a leg on one. the B&Ms are about the cheapest ive seen but hear they are trash. what other alternatives are there, which of the QUALITY units is the most economical buy ?

You could search the for sale section.... There are sometime very slightly used converter FS that are a bit cheaper than new....
