First, was this an aftermarket Dana-60 out of a 4th Gen F-Body? If not, you’ll have a torque-arm mounting issue on the center-section. The spring, shock and LCA brackets can easily be welded on the housing tubes, although, the torque-arm attachment is a much bigger issue. Also, the Dana housing will need to be modified for the GM caliper mounting brackets w/ wheel speed sensors for the 4-channel ABS (not sure exactly what will be required). Additionally, not all GM F-Body caliper brackets are machined for the 4-channel wheel-speed sensors. So make sure you have the correct ones.

the rear end did not come out of a 4th gen it was just one they had laying around out of an old car or truck. i know i'll have to fab up the mounts and stuff but i was just wondering what i would have to do to keep abs and traction control or would i be easier to just delete them and if thats the case what would i have to do

The 4-channel ABS and traction control (wheel speed sensors) will probably be easier to resolve that the torque-arm mounting issue on the Dana center section. Maybe someone here on the forum knows how to fabricate the torque-arm mount and has some pictures to post.

Many people have tried to fabricate the torque arm mount, but have failed. I have actually heard of some making it work. The rearend you have now will also have to be narrowed, I believe. I don't think the measurements are the same.

yeah you will def. have to short it. most dana 60's were found in older 3/4 and 1 ton ford trucks, so it will be way too wide!
