ok stall questions

ok stall questions

Im looking for a good stall for my car im going to be running a 396 h/c/i turbo im looking for around 800 rwhp what stall speed would be good for a street strip combo obviously i wont be running high boost all the time but i need somthing that is up to the task and somewhat streeable where too look?

Alright anyone got any reccomendations for convertor size? 10 inch 9 inch?

Probably you will end up with a 9", but you definitely need to speak with the converter manufacturer for an "unusual" application like this. And even then, it will most liklely take a couple of tries to get it right. You do not want an "off the shelf" converter for an 800rwhp turbo car that will see both street and track. Expect to pay at least $1,000 for a converter for this application.
