Nothing after rebuild.4L60E

New rebuild from a performance tranny shop in the area.It does nothing. No gears or reverse.Ive put many trannys in the past and I remember getting the torque converter to "click in" properly. Is the eletrical plug critical to get it to engage. The shop put a coat of flat black on it and maybe coated the connections.Im stumpd and beyond fustrated!

It is an electric controlled transmission, clean the connections and try it again.
If not take it back to them.

Re: Nothing after rebuild.4L60E

I did a search as far as how many qts of fluid and somone posted that he put in 12 qts.Is that right?I put in 5 qts and it didnt even budge.I did have a empty converter. On the same thread someone said 7 qts with a empty converter. It should at least engage and move a bit with 5 qts right ?

Um...A dry 4L60E and a new converter will take around 12-14 quarts. 5 is nowhere near enough.
