Not the normal "grinding" post

Hey guys I just got my new engine in and i think i screwed up on the tranny side. When i go to fire the car with the clutch on the very bottom it will stop the engine, almost like locking the flwwheel . When the pedal is up its fine. When i go to change gears it grinds. It is really hard to take off, it wants to kill the engine cause i cant press it down far enuff to put it in gear without it killing the engine. It has a new pilot bearing, the PP has less that 5k on it same as the disk. Do i have the disk flipped or????? Any ideas?
