Noises...etc... should I be worried?

'95 Forumla, M6, 133k on car, at least 85k on tranny...

I've got about 1,000 miles on a new McLeod clutch. I've got (what I think) a lot of chatter, sitting in neutral w/ the clutch out.

There have been a few times lately where the shifter wouldn't go into gear, or I had to push very hard to get it there. It doesn't grind, it just doesn't go where it's supposed to go. I then put it into any gear it will go into so I can roll the car a few inches, then it works like it should.

Also, before I replaced the clutch, I would go to put the car in 1st @ a stoplight, and it wouldn't go. I could put it into 2nd, roll a little bit, then try 1st and it would work. It has never ground going into a gear unless I just mess up the shift.

Is this something I should worry about, or is it just age/wear on the tranny?
