noise from rearend when turning left

I am hearing an odd noise from the rear of the car when i make a left turn. It feels like something is rubbinh almost, but I know that is not the case. It makes me think that the noise is from the rear end. Any ideas?

Most times all you need to do is change out the differential lube with new and add some posi additive.

Adam, your car has bad differential bearings and if you dont get it fixed a.s.a.p. your going to have to rebuild the whole axle, gear ,bearings and possibly an axleshaft that is not riding ture. from experience i've seen the same thing about 3 times so far. Scott k.

Lube change w/ additive worked for me. If it's a low whining/squealing noise that's probably it. Scraping noises usually indicate something more serious.

I have the same problem, just did a fluid change, with no resolution.

Thanks. I have parked the car, Just bought a truck. Whenever I get it back out. I will have the rear end rebuilt with some 3:73's, and all the bearings... Should take care of the issue.

if it's a high pitched metallic sound than it's probably your caliper rubbing against your brake rotors. I had that problem on my old rear end because of some play on that side. Axle would move in and out a bit. Just a thought
