i have a 94 z that had sat for a while i put optispark in drove it around every thing works great after a day i fig i try to see how it does so floored it and bam no second gear just went to rev limiter. . its all stock no mods so i tried again and same thing let off a lil got back on hard just doesnt seem right drives great as a normal granny car shifts fine . can lightly takle off a lil tire spin and shifts but nail it and its straight to rev limiter and no 2nd . well hope you can read this ok my writing skills suck lol

 

Your 2-4 band is most likely going out, and eventually you'll lose 2 and 4 all together. Mine did something similar with not shifting on WOT, but shifting as soon as i let up. Week later 2-4 was gone.

 

well was hopeing that wasnt it but i called tranny shop and he pretty much said same thing . he said i might be lucky to have a electric issue but more likely that when its going from first to 2nd theres not enough left to grab hold on wot so thanks for reply 1500 bucks and will be like new . man i love this site !!!
