Nitto Drag Radials on a stock LS1 Z

I'm thinking about getting a set of Nitto Drag Radials, seems to be the highest performance gain I can get as a first mod (besides maybe a lid and filter). Question....how will that stock rear end handle the increased traction with an M6 (3.42)? It's only got 19k on it, I don't wanna pop it! It is under warranty, but still...

Also, do any of you keep the Nitto's on it for daily driving? They are only rated at 15k miles for everyday street use. HMmm

should be fine... lots of the guys here run nittos.. probably 90% of us... no problems breaking rears.. only when they switch to slicks and ET streets or running weaker 4.10 gears.

my nittos will probably last 12k by the rate they are going... ive been to teh track 3 times with them.

What size are you running? I'm trying to get the widest tire on the stock Z28 wheel I can without any rubbing. I was thinking maybe 275/45/16.
