btw hi bobby!
I've heard more bad then good about them.. Not just on this board either. It seems that some people have good luck w/ them and a lot of people have trouble w/ them.
If you want more opinions, register on LS1tech.com and do a search there.... VERY active website and TONS of SPEC threads. (not bashin here, just tryin to give the guy more options)
Do they Make McLeod for your project car? I have one and no problems. I haven't heard of many problems w/ these.

Read a lot of posts bashing spec, I almost was afraid to use their product because of it.
When I originally built my car 03 ran a mcloud twin, no problem with the twin other than the fact running a springless hub causes some chatter and when I swapped the trans with a new unit from D@D I noticed a lot of wear on the input shaft.
Could the wear be due to the springless hub, not sure. With a new trans I did not want that issue so I decided to run a single spec 3+.
From MY EXPERIENCE both spec and mcloud make a good product.
I like the fact that a clutch has a little give, I dont need 10 10ths unforgiveness in a clutch.
