New Differential...Car's in shop as we speak

Well, my rear end is definitely gone! I've got a 96Z and within the last few months it started acting like an Open diff. So I'm trying to figure out what I want to replace it with(whatever it is, will have 3.73 gears and fit into stock housing). Limited-slip? Posi? I love taking off from a stop, whether it's a turn, a stop light or occasionally at the track(with slicks). I just need something reliable, strong, and still good for everyday driving. Suggestions?
THANK YOU!
