Bought a new SLP Clutch, Flywheel, pressure plate, and throwout bearings... still slips in first gear...now when I go to pull out on a hill it chatters and almost dies...like it's in 3 or 5 gear...I have to slip the clutch like a mother to get pulled out...any ideas...and it only does it in first gear...when I pull out and give it heck grab second it hooks like mad...in all the other gears too...it just seems to slip in first...tranny going out????

I don't know... seems odd to me. Check your trans fluid and make sure it is topped off. Other than that, there is a 500 mile break-in period for clutches where you want to drive easy and not slip the clutch.

I'm about 600 miles on the new clutch...I was told that it was just cause the car was geared high...and I just have to throw the gas to it let out the clutch and get back into it... I was kinda like umm wouldn't that be hard on it...but maybe I just don't know how to drive
