New clutch isn't the same
New clutch isn't the same
My old clutch was bleeding fluid. I decided to upgrade to a Centerforce and renew/replace all the hydraulics since I was in there anyway. The master and slave cyl look black and worn - original owner must have poured strange stuff into the reservoirs.
The Centerforce grips nicely, but the pedal is way on the floor. The shop does race cars and restorations, and the owner has a 2000 Z so I assume he knows how to bleed the system. Is the pedal position just a result of new and slightly different geometry with the new components, or do you figure there's still air in there.
