New clutch goin on soon need opinion
My car has 100,xxx on the clutch and i am going to replace it soon. I am going with the GM replacement clutch because i don't have the money (or horsepower for that matter) to warrant a higher performance clutch. I am wondering where one can find a throwout bearing that doesn't cost 180 and also should i replace the clutch fork too? Or will i know once i remove the old one? TIA
Re: New clutch goin on soon need opinion
i put this Clutch
and this Pressure Plate/Throwout bearing
I bought both of them on ebay from newera on ebay for 350$ shipped. Good daily driver clutch that i replaced on my car when i had 116K miles.
The slp clutch is a facotry clutch disc, with an upgraded pressure plate/throwout bearing. i went to a dealer and they wanted like $500+ for a clutch kit for my car.
Make sure you pick up a piolet bearing also...like 10$ at most
