Smile Need your guys help!

I just took my 350 turbo out of my 70 Z28 and it had the origional floor shifter cable bracket bolted to it, I removed it to have it checked out and the tranny was trashed! So I bought one from a mechanic, installed it in my car and there are no bolt holes for the shifter cable bracket! Now what?

If someone knows of a bracket to come off the pan please let me know, Classic Industries is looking for me also. I cannot be the first one to have come across this on the early cars!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!

I don't know because of all the 80s crap I tend to drive, all of the cable brackets bolt down with pan bolts.

Re: Need your guys help!

id have the mech swap guts on the 2 trannys. then you could retain a tranny thats dated for your car and you have a braket proper for it.
