ive been having this problem for a while now and no tranny shop around here as been able to give me any good info. pretty much the main problem is that when i put my car into reverse and give it the slightest bit of gas, the second i release the gas pedal the car will stumble and die. this started happening soon after getting my tranny rebuilt with an alto rebuild kit, transgo shift kit, tranny cooler, and 3000 edge racing converter. i replaced the stall converter already and the problem still persists. i dont think it is related to heat because the car will die on me first thing in the morning bringing it out of my garage to begin my day. any help would be appreciated.

 

if i put it in reverse and do not give it any gas the car wont die on me. i put it in reverse and let gravity pull me outta the driveway, otherwise itll die if i give it gas.
