Re: Need new driveshaft

If you're going to keep the hp mild, one of the GM aluminum shafts will work just fine. If you're going to add power later, the driveshaft can be a weak link. Really high hp cars usually go with a 3" steel shaft like the Denny's shaft. I went with a LPE 3.5" aluminum shaft that has held up great to 580 rwhp.

Another vote for the LPE 3.5" Aluminum. Had mine since 1995...tons of 11 second runs and 37,000 miles...still going strong. Best $299 ever spent.

Re: Need new driveshaft

I'm running a Denny's Nitrous Ready. It's one of the best shafts available.

I've always been of the attitude to do it right the first time, when I haven't obeyed my own attitude, I have ALWAYS gotten screwed over in the end.
