unless u know someone, you often wont even be able to get a stock rebuild for that money.

i am getting a completely bult up 4l60e for 1750, but the person that is doing and owns the shop is related to me by law.

good luck bro, but ur going to have to save more

member of the south california camaro connection? you know a good quality rebuild kit costs 125 bucks at jobber cost. throw in a transgo shift kit for 45 or so and a performance converter, assuming hard parts arent broke, and you have a rebuild in the 500 neighborhood

i dont know if the hard parts is broken. all i know is that it feels sluggish at shifts, and at WOT it bounce the rev limiter once in a while. i dont race it anymore since i dont have any money to rebuild this.
