Need info on mounts

Ok, I think I need tranny mounts. While I am doing this I guess I'll do the motor mounts as well(71000 miles). Are these hard to do, and what kind to get? Polly or soil, what are the pros and cons? Would 1 last longer than the other? Are the soilds harder on the components.

Poly will be fine. Solid is way hardcore.
Trans mount is easy. Motor mounts on an LS1 I've never done.
