Need help! Which rearend do i have ?

I have a '98 camaro M6 i know it has 3.42's and it's a 10 bolt but is it a 7.5inch or 7.625 ? i cant find a tag on my rearend soo i dont know. It leaked all of the fluid from wear the driveshaft connects to the rearend. Soo i need to order some seals and whatever else i might need. I noticed when i brought the car home when i bought it alittle while ago then whenever you let off the gas it would make alittle noise? It didnt leak when i looked the car all over when the kid showed up and i let the car sit while it was running. Just noticed it the other day and its been alittle while since i bought the car about 2 months ago. Also should i go with royal purple oil for it ?

7.5 is the same as 7.625.
a 7.625 rearend has a 7.625 OD ring gear mounted on a 7.5 carrier.
a 7.5 rearend has a 7.5 OD ring gear mounted on a 7.5 carrier.
rearend parts are the same: bearings, seals, shims, etc.

I bought bearings and races but hopefully i wont have to use them just the oil seal because i dont want to deal with pressing them out and such.
