Need help with rear end ?'s

There is a shop here in AZ that my buddy went to and he had a 9" center section and axles and the guy welded up everything to fit his mustang. I am thinking about doing this but I would like my ABS to still work. The mustang didn't have or didn't stay with the ABS. How does the ABS tie into the rear end? And if any of this doesn't sound right I probably have something wrong. I am not to sure about how the rear end swapping goes. Thanks in advance.

Re: Need help with rear end ?'s

Most people who want to keep the ABS go with a 12-bolt instead of a 9".

If your car has the 3ch ABS (sensor on the pumpkin), I've heard of people moving that sensor to the front of the driveshaft and using a gear that has been machined and welded to the DS. There is a post in this forum with all the details on it.

97formula just explained the ABS setup to you. Do a search on it and you'll find the post explaining it.
