Heres my thing I had Motive 4.10s put in my A4 and now when I stop I get a clunk noise. It doesnt do it changing gears or anything else just when I make a complete stop. I took it to the shop last week and the place said they checked everything in the rear and its good. They are saying its the transmission making the clunk noise. Anybody ever here of anything like this? The tranny doesnt slip or anything pulls real hard but they are saying its my tranny. They checked mounts and sway bars and said its the tranny. Anybody please Know the answer

 

could be tranny or torque arm mounts, I need to replace my torque arm mount. I get a similar clunk, but mine is not everytime I come to a stop. Just every once in a while. Both mounts shouldn't cost more then $35, I have just been a little lazy in doing mine!
