I need help guy's. A buddy of mine just swapped out automatic transmissions in his 94 Z and all he has is reverse. When we put it in drive or any other gear it's as if he was in neutral. Not a single thing happens. What could be possible errors on our part, or is it just a bad tranny. He got it from a junk yard to replace his shot original one. Any help is appreciated. If it turns out this one is shot too, he's having LT1 Dave rebuild his original one.

 

I have seen this situation many times before, that is why it is in the junkyard, it is junk. If I can be of help on this, let me know?
