Does it make any noise at any other time?

No just everytime it shifts into 2nd, if i accelerate EXTREMELY slowly it doesn't happen...really frustrating and depressing!

Are you sure your mount isn't broke and causing the trans to hit the floor?

Im fairly sure. There's a clear loss of power when it slips...but I guess replacing the mount cant hurt. I've had to do it twice already!

What condition is the fluid in? Is it dark or does it smell burnt? If the grinding is coming from the trans, that's bad news. Most likely a planetary failure.
