need a good clutch
need a good clutch
I'm looking to do an m6 swap on my 93 firebird. im looking for someone to point me in the direction of a good clutch to hold 380 - 400 rwhp, big clutch dumps, all that good stuff. thanks -dave
Re: need a good clutch
i have a spec stage 3 i really like it but it is a little hard to drive at first but it will handle almost anything you throw at it but if you want the best of the best i would say go mcleod street twin its a bit pricy but you must remember you get what you pay for
Re: need a good clutch
I'll second the spec stage III, i got mine for around 450 and it is holding great, the street twin is the best clutch out there but you will need to spend around 900-1100. At the time i didn't have that much to drop on a clutch so i went with the spec. They had problems with the old stage III but redesigned it and i haven't heard too many problems with the new one, people will say go with the unsprung stage 4 but i've never had experience with that so i don't know.
