Well, I spent last night setting up a set of 4.11's for my 9-inch. But before I put the center section back in the housing, I figure that I'd go online and get some second opinions about the setup.

Gears are Motive 4.11's. I'm running .007" backlash on the carrier, which puts it right between the .006"/.008" written on the gear. I verified carrier preload by giving a firm strike to either side of the carrier to make sure backlash didn't change.

I'm no expert but I have successfully set up a 10 bolt and that looks good to me.
