Need clutch recommendations
Need clutch recommendations
A little background....
1995 Z28, full exhaust, cold air intake, and tune. 100k miles on the original, never been on the track (might eventually) and will never see slicks. Later down the road there may be a forged 383, but by the time I can afford that I'll be able to afford the Street Twin. It's driveable, but not any fun because of the slip. On the plus side, it's not a daily driver. I've searched on here and figured I'd just ask since I can't find a straight answer. Sorry if this has been beat to the ground, I used the search function first!
I need a clutch recommendation other than Spec or Mcleod Street Twin. I've heard good things about SLP and the LT4 PP setup. I've also heard pretty good things about RAM. Any thoughts on these? Any other recommendations?
One more thing, I've found alot of info on the drill mod for the hydraulics. Some said it'd work on an LT1, some said it wouldn't. Is there any benefit to it? Any helpful hints?
Thanks!
