Well, I'm trying to remove my differential and the differential pinion gear shaft won't come out. I tried pounding it out, but it doesn't seem to be helping, the bolt that holds it in is already out. The shaft wiggles back and forth but it won't budge beyond that. I know lots of people have done gear swaps here, anyone got any pointers on what I'm doing wrong. Do I need to get a sledgehammer just to get that stupid thing out? I can see the c-clips hiding back there, but they're too far back to do any good with that stupid shaft in the way. I've gotta get this done tomorrow or I'll have to put everything back.

LOL well it seems that although I got the locking bolt out, I didn't get all of it out...
