need advise for a bearing puller

I need to pull the bearings out of the ends of the axles using a puller. I have the stock 10-bolt rear end that I am rebuilding with my race expert friend. He told me to pick up a slide hammer bearing puller, but I need to know which one of these would work for me:

I think the second puller listed would be all around better kit. I got my puller kit from Advance Auto and it had 3 sizes of the toggles that thread on puller then fit behind the bearing. Worked great on my bearings, had each out in seconds.

It'd be cheaper just to rent one from Autozone. You basically pay for the puller and get your money back if you return it in good condition. No limit on how long you can keep it.
Basically any slide hammer w/ a 3 pronged reverse claw will work to get a bearing and race out.

They wanted $180 bucks to rent one at autozone and I figured I might break something so I thought I should just buy the whole thing for $60 and use it once or twice.
