Need advice on what clutch to get for my set-up

I have a 6 speed 94 camaro z28. I'm pushing about 400rwhp right now. By next summer my car will be pushing hopefully 5-600rwhp MAX. My question is my clutch is going bad. I was wondering could I put a high 600horse rated clutch in the car right now. Would there be any problems with performance or any other type of problem. Also what would be the best clutch - I prefer a soft pedal feel but if the best clutches to buy have a hard feel to them I will settle for that. mostly for street driving. SPEC,CENTERFORCE,SLP???? - Anyone please let me know. Looking for a long lasting clutch

Re: Need advice on what clutch to get for my set-up

If my 1994 were still a standard I would install a McLeod Street twin. I went throguh seven clutch installs in 1 1/2 years of varying Centerforce and GM products. Finally gave up and switched to an automatic. With the power level you are anticipating it does not make sense to go with anything less in my opinion. Of course we all have opinions...
