Question Mystery trans wire to NOS--

I was underneath my car yesterday and notices that there was a wiring plug just dangling at the back of the trans. It is right next to what i think is the speed sensor on the passenger side. it has a wire attached to it and is ran up by where the previous owner had mounted the nitrous switch. It is not plugged in now because i rewired everything for the nitrous as i really didnt trust his mechanical no how. Any guesses on what this wire could be. I think it was run to a 2 way toggle where one side was purge and the otherside went to the mystery trans wire.

It feels like my car shifts really early, is that normal. When i am driving it normally i can be in 3rd gear before 20 MPH.It has plenty of torque so its not bogging but it always feels so much better when i manually shift it. I was just trying to figure out if this had something to do with that or is something else completely. He said that the trans was rebuilt in Tampa and im not sure what all was done to it besides a higher stall and a nice shift kit. 1st to second has a nice solid shift that will melt the tires and 3rd to 4th isnt as solid but is pretty smooth. Just looking for some ideas.

okay how about something a little easier. Does anyone know what the second plug in is supposed to be connected to.

Could this possibly be a torque converter lockup switch. I am not sure if i have the original transmission. Where is the TC lockup supposed to connect to the trans. Sice it was ran to a toggle this could be the answer to my mystery.
