My tires stick out too far on one side....

My back passenger tire sticks out an inch or so more than the other one. We checked around and found that the frame (or a piece of metal) was bent. They said I could bend it back, or get an adjustable... thing (I don't know what it's called).

Which would be easier? And if I got something that would be adjustable, how could you keep it in place?

adjustable panhard bar will solve the problem. it bolts in where the stock 1 goes, and uses JAM nuts to keep it from moving once you set it.

Thanks a lot. I'll pick one up sometime soon.

But now I've noticed another problem, right after I posted. Heh, my front does the same thing. Is there anything I can adjust in the front to fix that too? It sticks out a little bit on the passenger side as well..

i've never seen the front stick out unless they used spacers. nothing can be easily done to correct that.

Man... damn. lol

I'm going to check and see if those rims are all the same width. I traded rims with a guy a few months ago, and I have no idea how wide they are. Maybe the ones I put on the passenger side are wider? Maybe, I don't know.

And by spacers, you mean.. what? lol I'm sorry for the stupid questions, but I don't know a lot about cars, obviously. Thanks again though.

>If you can , maybe go to an alignment shop with the laser and see if the car isn't bent . Normally people used these for the drag racing skinny wheels so the spacers are used to offset the wheels from hitting (example) brake calipers/drums . They are just like using a spacer for anything else for the clearance .
adjustable panhard rods are available from alot of manufacturers like BMR ( http://www.bmrfabrication.com/F-body...tm#panhardrods )
