are my synchros gone?

i just got all synchros and bearings recently replaced...paid a good 1300$ almost to get it done

and just yesterday i think my first gear and third gear synchro went...when i put it into gear and let off the clutch it pops out

any help guys? could it be my stop bolts on the shifter? maybe they came loose

Re: are my synchros gone?

First off I would check the linkages, for your clutch, before just thinking its the syncro's. Next I would check the clutch free pedal travel, if you don't know what that is, its the free play between the throw-out bearing and the pressure plate. Your pedal should have about 1 inch of free pedal travel. Hope that helps.

Re: are my synchros gone?

Interesting. How exactly would a bad syncro cause it to pop out of gear?

well basically the gears wouldn't be lined up (or something like that) when you let off the clutch which in return would cause it to go pop
