is my stall to big?

is the stall I have to big for what Ive got?
Im running a 383 with the Holley Stealth Ram intake on the top...I have a custom 226/232 cam with 535/537 lift @50....under my AFR 195's, 30lb SVO's, 58mm TB, Hooker LT's, Spohn PHB, BMR TA, LCA's..SFC's..wide open Borla exhaust

Im running 3.42 gears in the rear behind a 700r4?

The stall Im running now is a Midwest 3400 with a 2.5 str...I havent really had time to get on it or even see what it acts like behind my 383 powerplant....

do you guys think that is to much stall for what I have?

wont I run out of RPM's with the stall being so high? That cam is with 1.5's..I was thinking of going to 1.6's.

Stickys? nope...I will run drag rads....

I havent had a a chance to play with it as its all behind my new motor....and Im having to replace the flexplate cause I didnt locktite the bolts and all of them backed out and egged the holes in the plate....so when I drop the trans..I figured if I had to have it restalled I could do it then.

so you guys think Im ok..with what I have?

OK, listen up. You have nothing to worry about with 3.42 gears. And if you have DRs, I consider those stickys. If they don't stick, you have a suspension problem. Trust me, your converter is NOT to big.

You can't have too much stall.

3400 is the rated stall. A converter will act differently on every motor because of weight, HP, and torque differences. Your best bet is to call a company and give them all the info on your car and have them build you a custom converter. But no I dont think that is to much stall. I had a 3600 stall made for my car and I could flash it to around 4k. I just switched to a TH350 and I had them rebuild the converter and I had them turn it up just slightly.
